LOOKING AHEAD TO A NEW WEEK!

TIME TO TAKE A STEP FORWARD...

...AND SEE WHAT LIES AHEAD!

SUNDAY...
Who wouldn't want to stay in their robe until lunchtime if you had this champagne satin robe to lounge about in?  It's vintage 1940's glamour fit for Hollywood royalty, and it's available from French Navy Vintage.
Such a ravishing way to look across the breakfast table with its pretty floral stitch pattern on the collar, don't you agree?

MONDAY...
I still love receiving and sending a real live letter in the mail, and jotting quick notes for last weeks thank yous and other correspondence would be a lovely touch on this vintage stationary in the palest shade of pink from Oh Sandra.  The feathered edges of each sheet of paper are complimented by the matching envelope flaps.

TUESDAY...
I actually keep my cotton balls in my bathroom in a biscuit jar similar to this one.  I was thinking of putting one in the guest bath as well, filled with tiny hand soaps or an assortment of travel size shampoos or other items guests might have forgotten.  This crystal one is perfect and such an elegant way to make visitors feel pampered.  When you visit this shop, Her Majesty's Pug, be sure to check out the En Vogue clock...it's adorable and very chic!

WEDNESDAY...
I think dinner and wine on the patio with my Sweetie mid-week is just what we need.  I'd love to wear something a little special, unexpected and lacy like this romantic evening jumpsuit with its comfy palazzo bottoms.  This would be cute for a long weekend out of town dinner, too; maybe jazzed up with a little rhinestone bling....From Viral Threads.

THURSDAY...

Some friends are leaving for the beach this weekend and I'd love to send them off with a little bon voyage treat to take along.  I've done this gift quite a few times over the years, and it's a great gift for a family or a romantic couples get away.I find a great beach bag like this one from Atomic Vintage, and fill it up with everything needed for making S'mores right one the shore; graham crackers, break apart chocolate bars, marshmallows, and of course little tea lights, a lighter, and a package of bamboo skewers.  We've even made S'mores like this watching an old movie or sitting on the veranda.  Your friends will love this and have a great beach bag, too!

FRIDAY...
How 'bout a wonderful Cesar salad tossed right at the dinner table for a few friends? This impressive set consists of the bowl, tripod stand, serving utensils and even its own salt and peppers that hang right from the stand!  It's casually elegant, and with a nice loaf a crusty bread, it's a light meal leaving plenty of room for a lusty libation or decadent dessert?  If you love mid-century modern, you will love this shop called
Fabulous Mess!

SATURDAY...
How cute is this little vintage piece?  So perfect for a late Saturday afternoon wedding around the pool with cocktails, dinner and dancing later!  From Luv Stone Vintage.  Don't you think the colors are so pretty and flattering to just about any complexion?

Hope You Have a Bright and Beautiful Week!

You know, I don't need another excuse to not dress before noon. And yet, I'd like a neutral-colored dressing gown for the summer months (mine is raspberry).

I'm checking out the biscuit jar...
